The Editor

On February 23, the Musée Grévin faced criticism from the public when they announced the entry of Stéphane Plaza (accused of domestic violence) into the institution. But this time, they are making amends with the arrival of a statue in the image of Théo Curin, who will be the first para-athlete to have his own wax figure.

A Historical Statue

As the museum already has more than 250 celebrities, including some athletes, it's the first time that a Para athlete joins the ranks of the famous cultural center in the 9th arrondissement. And one thing's for sure, it was about time. The champion, who is also a model in his spare time, will be depicted in a swimsuit by a pool, with his amputations visible, of course!

And Théo Curin truly deserves the honor of being chosen first, since the young swimmer has an impressive track record: double vice-world champion in 2017 and a bronze medalist at the World Championships in 2019. Thanks to this new recognition, we can only imagine that he is swimming in happiness...
