Two weeks after the start of the war in Iran, where the bombings by Israel and the United States continue to escalate, airlines are being forced to make decisions. As several countries are affected by the conflict in the region, the French airline Air France is compelled to continue the suspension of its flights to and from Paris, including several cities in the Middle East.

Dubai, Riyadh, Tel Aviv, and Beirut Affected
Questioned by our colleagues from Actu Paris, the Air France teams stated this Tuesday, March 17, that the “security situation” required the continuation of flight suspensions for four cities affected by the conflict. All flights to and from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia are therefore suspended at least until March 20 inclusive. The same goes for Tel Aviv in Israel and Beirut in Lebanon, with flights suspended at least until March 21 inclusive.
Ongoing Repatriation Flights
According to Air France, the “continuation of the closure of airspaces to commercial flights” is essential for...the hour. Suspensions that do not concern possible special flights, such as those for repatriation organized by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in France. A recovery is assessed on a day-to-day basis, depending on the security situation in the region, which of course is subject to change.
