1. The beach of Île-Vierge (Finistère)
In fifth place in this ranking is the stunning beach of Île Vierge, located in Finistère, renowned for its turquoise waters and wild cliffs. Although it has been closed to the public since 2020 due to safety concerns related to landslide risks, it is still possible to admire it from the coastal path. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the Crozon Peninsula, whether on foot or by boat, to enjoy this unique landscape.

2. Saleccia Beach (Corsica)
Just a bit further down the list at the sixteenth spot, we find, quite unsurprisingly, Saleccia Beach in Corsica. It's a massive stretch of white sand bordered by crystal-clear water, and it remains very untouched by human influence. A true wild wonder of the Isle of Beauty, it nestles in the heart of the Agriates Desert, in Upper Corsica. To get there, you'll need to be a little prepared: the site is only accessible by boat, 4x4, or after about a five-hour hike.

3. Matira Beach, Bora Bora (French Polynesia)
Finally, Matira Beach takes the seventeenth spot. The only public beach on Bora Bora’s main island, it stretches over two kilometers along the southern tip. It’s the perfect spot for snorkeling, and its westward orientation offers spectacular sunsets. Although it’s a bit farther from the mainland, this beach will amaze you with its intense shades of blue and the coconut palms lining a strip of incomparable white sand.
