If back to school could be smooth in an alternative school, that would be great! Luckily, Douces Maternelles, an alternative and 100% bilingual school, has multiple locations in the capital. This is a source of great joy for our little ones.

Because school can also be a place of learning, sweetness, and beautiful moments, there are solutions for compassionate and positive education. This is the case with Douces Maternelles, which offers 14 schools in the capital. From 2 to 6 years old, children are welcomed individually, with kindness and care, and there's a twist: it's 100% bilingual. Convinced of the relevance of learning a foreign language from a young age, the teams are committed to teaching English to the youngest ones since it's between 2 and 4 years old that the ear and brain are most receptive to learning and retaining a new language. Here, it's the human aspect that is at the heart of the project, with a co-education and parent support approach. Halfway between Scandinavian kindergartens and "classic" nursery schools, the eacute; Douces Maternelles draws inspiration from active pedagogies like Montessori and Reggio Emilia while following the National Education curriculum, to offer a true learning environment and develop self-confidence, autonomy, a sense of responsibility, and a desire to learn.

In small classes of about ten students, we learn in the best conditions with cognitive, creative, and evolving workshops that help with motor and cerebral development: yoga, cooking, gardening, music... In short, a perfect alternative for our little ones!
