The Editor

Square, round, neutral or eccentric, there are glasses in all shapes, colors, and prices, making it quite challenging to know which ones to choose. Luckily, opticians are here to help us, and when they’re as perfectionist as Nina Partovi, it truly sparks joy.

A tailored support

On Rue Bonaparte, at the crossroads of Rue Jacob, this dedicated professional seems like a miracle. After gaining 13 years of experience in optics, including three years spent in Canada, Nina returned to Paris in 2017 to open her own store. Since then, this radiant woman states that she has « always satisfied her clients », thanks to a well-honed method.

Her magic recipe: being herself. In her workshop, Nina takes care of everything from A to Z. She welcomes and chats with her clients, asking them about their personalities, their jobs… and chooses the perfect pair for them, with great seriousness. You can change a face with a pair of glasses. It’s the first thing people see,” explains Nina, who has a knack for spotting whether a style is “too small, too big, fits poorly,” thanks to her training as a beautician. Here, measurements of your face are taken just like at a tailor’s, and frames are suggested based on your features while keeping your desires in mind. Custom-made, but always with a touch of couture. Besides the purely aesthetic side, Nina is also an optometrist: she checks every prescription with a medical examination as well as every step of the glasses assembly.ettes.

Exceptional Models

Intimate and refined, the store is overflowing with exceptional models – both sunglasses and prescription glasses – thoughtfully selected with taste. You can find a variety of styles: retro and elegant, vintage, colorful, understated, all featuring perfect frames for small faces. When it comes to brands, Nina only sells the cream of the crop, with a special fondness for Japanese designers – Matsuda, Sauvage, Native Sons – as well as Alhem, Anne et Valentin, Leisure Society, Lunor, Theo, and Andy Wolf. With this range, she attracts not only many loyal locals but also discerning customers who come specifically for her expert advice. A specialist full of enthusiasm you can trust with your eyes closed!
