Barely the doors of a Moment Couleur salon are opened, and already the atmosphere is warm. We are greeted with a smile, offered coffee or tea, and most importantly, space is given for discussion: whether you know the color you want or prefer to be guided, the professionals on site quickly understand your tastes and options. Your hair will be pampered, your head will be massaged: the session can begin!
To the tune of Johan Constantino or the cheerful melodies of Bon Entendeur, the colorists twirl around the clients, appearing as true technical experts, expertly guided by Elise, the manager. It must be said that the concept of Moment Couleur is innovative and has launched a trend in Paris: offering only coloring services in the salon, without haircuts. A way for Valé to...Laugh, the founder, wanted to develop real expertise in colorimetry and hair care.
A signature protocol
No way to reproduce the same methods as hairdressers, here the protocol is different, and that's what makes it charming. It revolves around three moments: the exchange, to concoct the custom-made color that suits you; the creation, of your color but also of a kit to take home to touch up your roots on your own; and finally, the salon's signature, which consists of enveloping your lengths in a mask to protect, nourish, and make them shine. Just like you.
It's urban, it's custom-made, but it's also affordable! For a root coloration and eyebrow treatment, which includes the diagnosis, nourishing care, and also drying, expect between 75 € and 85 €.uro;. A price that defies all competition, and can go up to 160 euros if you also want to lighten your lengths or get a patina (145 euros). To respect your mane, the products used are ammonia-free, the pigments are natural, and a shampoo brand called Moment Couleur has also been created, available on the e-shop.
The salon is defined by its identity and technicality, just like its colorists, who make up a friendly and rigorous team. We fully endorse the experience at 100%: it's perfect, as the mantra goes, « 100% satisfied or we redo it », so go ahead blindly!
