In the heart of the bustling Rue de Reuilly, a jungle emerges from the urban mosaic. Welcome to La Green Touch, the green sanctuary of the 12th arrondissement that is bursting with beauty that needs lots of love, water, and sunshine. If this name sounds familiar to you, it's probably because of their expertise in terrariums. Terrariums are the best friends of those who don't have green thumbs. Just a quick theory recap, they are glass bubbles where various plant species, such as tropical plants or succulents, live in almost self-sufficiency.

In 2017, the adventure of La Green Touch began, a shop founded by Laetitia and Matthieu. Laetitia, a passionate DIY and terrarium lover, had her revelation during the Christmas holidays in 2016: "I wanted to make terr...

I discovered arium gifts for my loved ones when I realized that pre-made terrariums were too expensive, so I came up with the idea of launching DIY kits," she said. "I started in February of the following year and began selling my creations." Three years later, she decided to bring a touch of greenery to Rue de Reuilly and establish her "vegetal escape" territory. A DIY approach Whether you are from Paris or not, you can purchase plants from the carefully selected collections of Green Touch on the e-shop to create your own indoor jungles: dried flowers, indoor plants, "pet-friendly" species for those who have pets that love sniffing and chewing on greenery, giant or mini plants... The choice and quality are guaranteed. [Image description: A photo of a decorated street]The shop and its team develop a do-it-yourself approach, offering kits to make your terrarium from A to Z, but also to design your mosaic or macramé plant stand to hang its beauty high in your home, giving it all the glory it deserves. When sanitary conditions allow, you can attend thematic workshops at the shop to learn everything about making and caring for your terrarium, as well as creating kokedama, the Japanese art of displaying plant balls at home. You also learn the techniques of repotting and plant care to truly have a green thumb. Anthuriums, Calatheas, Begonias, and other Monstera: If the website is full of gems, we can only recommend visiting Laetitia's boutique and her team. And always super excited to advise and showcase their beauties and original creations. Good to know as well, for crazy gift ideas: La Green Touch offers monthly subscriptions to receive surprise plants and accessories to pamper them as much as you want.
