There are sculptures displayed in showcases, resting on handmade wooden shelves, and drawings hanging on the walls… In his studio, freshly opened in the 10th in September 2025, Damien Granelle has created a space that reflects his personality: warm, lively, where you feel good. A place where creative ideas flow, where you can experiment, and where passion reigns. Everything has been thought out down to the last detail: custom furniture, movable tables… The studio, designed by the artist himself, transforms according to the needs and projects.
Between creation and transmission
Sculptor “since forever,” he recalls trying his hand at this art from childhood. First on wood—his favorite material—then on plaster, wax, or clay. An artist, that's who he is.
rtes, but also a teacher. A way to pass on knowledge, but also to stay connected while practicing this solitary art, « although I tend to think that these tools we use for decades have a soul... you're never really alone ».

A free and caring approach
Aware of the growing "appetite of society for hands-on activities", he decided to draw on his years of experience as a visual artist at the Petit Palais to embark on a new adventure and open his workshop last year. Since then, he has been offering sculpture and drawing classes. With the backdrop of jazz tunes, he teaches his students various modeling techniques tailored to their projects. Here, there's no rigid framework—just openness, kindness, and versatility are the guiding principles. "I have a pretty open philosophy, I adapt so that their creations resonate with their inner expressions."
