The Editor

The street artist EFIX exhibits his work in the streets of the world by playing with architecture and urban elements. His goal? To divert them to enhance them. We can find in his works many characters from our childhood; an approach that he explains: "Keeping a child's soul and carefreeness in the face of the society that surrounds us." Thus, he observes every detail present in the street in order to find the perfect place where he can create a new artwork, whether it's a piece of pipe, a sign, a drain cover, a lock or even a block of concrete. His approach as a street artist consists of constantly adapting to the environment: "Where you see a pipe, I'll see a saxophone, an elephant trunk, or even a cactus...". Beyond his art, the technique he uses is not ordinary since he only uses biodegradable materials for his collage works: he uses flour, sugar, and water to stick his paper-made artworks.Selects his equipment, causing his works to expire and disappear when the time comes. That's what makes our gray and gloomy streets more poetic and colorful!
