Up to Three Keys Awarded
Hotels can be awarded one, two, or three Keys, indicating a unique, exceptional, or extraordinary stay. To assign their rating, Michelin experts rely on five specific criteria: architecture and interior design, quality of service, personality and character, value for money, and contribution to the local experience. In France, many palaces, castles, vineyards, and boutique hotels have managed to obtain one or more Keys.
39 Parisian establishments awarded
For this first edition, 24 French hotels have received three Keys, 38 have received two, and 127 have received one Key. Some hotels have won the heart of lovers. Of the 24 that have obtained the Holy Grail, 9 hotels are located in Paris.
