The end-of-year festivities are just around the corner, and for some, it’s the much-anticipated time of year to delight their loved ones. The good news is that all kinds of markets are starting to pop up in the capital, including the Cité Fertile, a giant Christmas village with plenty of markets and a fantastic cultural program.

Despite the winter haters (like me), Christmas is fast approaching! But here’s some news that should bring everyone together: Cité Fertile is offering a new edition of its Christmas Village at the gates of Paris. Every weekend from November 22 to December 21, come join us in our beloved wasteland in Pantin to enjoy a Christmas village XXL, featuring artisan markets, comforting street food, a mulled wine bar, and a festive program that's just perfect.


Different exhibitors every weekend

We're sticking with the same successful formula! Just like in previous editions, the Christmas Village will host different exhibitors each weekend, most of whom are eco-friendly and socially responsible creators, with nearly 80 stands each time. Over the five weekends, we’ll get to enjoy the Philippine street food market (November 22); the Oxfam and Singa solidarity Christmas market (November 29-30), bringing together associations and gifts.

affordable prices accessible to everyone; The Big Market and Rebellious Noël (December 6-7) featuring stands from committed creators, booksellers, vegan treats, crafts, and DJ sets; the Algerian Christmas Market (December 13-14) blending Algerian traditions with festive magic; and finally, the Kreyol Christmas Market (December 20-21) to explore Caribbean traditions filled with joy and good cheer. In short, there will truly be something for EVERYONE's taste.


Workshops, live performances, cozy space…

In addition to its various markets, La Cité Fertile promises a ton of other installations and events to help us get ready for Christmas just right. For instance, there’s a Santa's cabin where young and old are invited to drop off their wishes for the new year; a cozy space to relax and warm up; a big play area for the kids, designed to spark curiosity and energy; street food stands and a mulled wine bar (a must-try); and of course, we’re also looking forward to an exciting cultural program featuring exhibitions, creative workshops, concerts, and incredible artistic performances.
