What's the concept? 6,700 m² dedicated to urban agriculture, just a stone's throw from Porte de Bagnolet. Established since 2020 in this corner of Paris that you'd never imagine being agricultural, the place grows microgreens of coriander, fennel, watercress, and mizuna, cut flowers, edible flowers, herbal teas, and herbs. All of this happens in a 660 m² greenhouse, featuring an educational garden, a chicken coop, and a community composter. It's beautiful, it's useful, and honestly, it's quite amazing to find this here.

Not just a vegetable garden: a true community project

What makes The Urban Farmer truly unique is that it goes beyond just producing. The association employs around forty people, including nearly 25 in professional transition, and has even secured funding from the European Union for its integration activities. A real project with a real impact, not just something green to look pretty on Instagram.

Harvesting, workshops, visits: the schedule is packed

When it comes to experiences, there’s something for everyone. The flower picking is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Visits are offered every Saturday. And the workshops—gardening, sowing, cooking, crafting, quiz games—welcome families, adults, and children.

No specific level required.

The idea is to learn outdoors, with your hands in the soil. It's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down. And come back.
