We all know it—in life, there are outfits that aren't easy to wear again. That Mario costume you found for New Year's Eve. Your gym clothes from when you were 10 years old. Your graduation gown from communication school. Or even your wedding dress. Thankfully, sometimes life gives us the unique opportunity to wear them again. That's exactly what This Perfect Bal is all about—its fourth edition will take place in Paris next weekend.
A bit of a wild dream
For Denise, aka @this_perfectday on social media, it all started in 2023, when the influencer tried on her wedding dress in a story, complaining that she had no occasion to wear it again. Immediately, her followers suggested she org

Without further ado, the young woman gets to work, and a few months later, This Perfect Bal is born, bringing together around a hundred participants all dressed in tulle and lace.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
An event you won't want to miss
Since then, the ball has evolved quite a bit, gaining dozens of participants each year and developing different themes. So after "Coyote Girl" last year, it's the world of Bridgerton that's in the spotlight this year. A great way to let past attendees come back without getting bored. And don't worry, you don't need to be married to join in the fun—you can also rent a dress, or borrow your mom's, for example… And anyway, there's no rush: the 2026 edition is unfortunately sold out (all ticket proceeds were donated to the Make-A-Wish association). At least that gives you a whole year to find a dress… or get married!
