A mix of Japanese flea market, zen garden, and food market
The place highlights passionate creators and treasure hunters, starting with an ultra-diverse flea market organized by the master of Japanese second-hand goods, Koji Fukushima. You can find beautiful ceramics, authentic kimonos, and furniture full of history to add a unique Japanese touch to your home. Saaya, with her brand Obisme, reinterprets vintage kimonos into modern jackets and dresses, while Hiroco's house offers an exclusive selection of vintage jackets. Those who love exceptional jewelry will be delighted to discover Ichiro Ono.creator of Myacale, and for the pop culture and tech enthusiasts, the offerings are just as tempting: manga, Japanese posters, imported video games from Japan, and even 2000 Japanese vinyl records to dig through with passion.
After gathering your treasures, head over to the terrace of Mercato Bolivar, transformed into a true zen garden. Here, you’ll find an exquisite selection of bonsais and kokedama offered by Rie (Dream in Green), perfect for a contemplative break. On the indulgent side, the coffee shop has reinvented itself into a Japanese yatai, where you can enjoy a delicate matcha, ultra-soft sandwiches, and delightful Yummy matcha mochi cakes made in Japan, matcha sesame wagashis, and drool-worthy dorayakis.
