As the holiday season gently approaches the capital and its surroundings, the most beautiful châteaux in the Île-de-France start to don their festive attire for our delight. This includes one of our favorites, Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle, which has a big surprise in store for us this year: a temporary ice rink open for the entire duration of the festivities at the monument.
A Grand Christmas
Like every year, Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle revealed its festivities program for the winter season on Saturday, November 15. And once again, this monument lives up to its reputation with stunning decorations and a magical program. On the menu, expect sumptuous decorations, monumental Christmas trees, but also...
a celebratory show specially designed for the occasion and a unique architectural projection on the castle facade. Indoor and outdoor activities that promise a magical moment for all visitors.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
Come slide on over!
The cherry on top, the castle invites you this year to enjoy its ice rink, located right in the middle of the central alley of the garden. It’s the perfect spot to admire the building illuminated by a thousand twinkling lights at dusk, and to enjoy a joyful moment with friends or family. Open every day until 7 PM, it welcomes you for 30-minute skating sessions, and if you can bring your own skates, there are also others available. Just a heads up, access is not included in the entry ticket, and you’ll need to shell out 5€ extra (skates included) to join in on the fun.
