Some crowns are simply not meant to be given up. Recently, the Golden Ticket Awards — the prestigious prize honoring theme parks — unveiled their ranking for 2026. And once again, Europa-Park, the park located in Rust, Germany, stands out from the rest.

Europa-Park Reigns as the Best Theme Park
Europa-Park has claimed the prestigious title of « best theme park in the world ». It's a title the park receives for the 11th time, which truly speaks to its power and importance in the industry. The Golden Ticket Awards notably praised « the wide variety of attractions offered », as well as « the high-quality operations and maintenance ».
Europa-Park was founded in 1959 under the drive of the Mack family, who still lead it today. In 2025, it broke all records by welcoming more than

Two attractions among the best in the world
If it snagged the top honor, it's not the only category where Europa-Park earned recognition. It also climbs to 11th place for the world's best wooden roller coasters with Wodan — an attraction created
launched in 2012 —, and at 9th place for the 50 best steel roller coasters with the Voltron Nevera which opened in 2024.
