This is one of our favorite places to wait for the holiday season: in just two short weeks, we’ll be heading to the Tuileries for a shot of year-end magic with the return of the Christmas market! Until January 4, 2026, stalls, games, activities, and tastings will help us experience the wonder of Christmas. As every year, there’s a lovely, well-thought-out program, including the famous ice rink, and a chance to meet Santa Claus.
80 wooden chalets to visit
Traditionally located on the Champs-Élysées, the famous market moved to the Tuileries Garden in 2018. Since then, it has been offering us a moment of magic.
golden moments that we look forward to every year. Spanning one hectare of this stunning green haven, this event requires eight days of setup to bring to life 80 wooden chalets and many exciting attractions.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
From November 14 to January 4, the organizing association Le Monde Festif invites locals and tourists to stroll through beautiful Christmas decorations and, above all, get plenty of gift ideas without breaking the bank, thanks to a variety of stands. And the cherry on top? 80% of the artisans offer French products, from pottery, jewelry, textiles to home decor, so you can treat yourself while keeping to a certain ethical standard.
A Mini Carnival
If the Tuileries Christmas Market — also known as the carnival market — is often a bustling hotspot, it’s also thanks to its mini carnival and its attractions of all kinds. Giant slides, bump cars, carousels, a big wheel, and a 250 m2 ice rink... It's sure to delight everyone!
and the happiness of children who are still naive and unaware, meetings with Santa Claus (the real one, we checked) will also be offered throughout the festivities.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
And for all the food lovers, don't worry, the Tuileries market has you covered with lots of stands. Roasted chestnuts, waffles, tartiflette, hot wines, all the classic Christmas treats will be available, along with some regional specialties and other more original options. But be careful, such a lineup might draw in the crowds. We recommend planning your visits on weekdays to minimize the hustle and bustle…
