You'll never tire of exploring the gardens of the Auteuil greenhouses, the botanical garden, or any other green space in the capital. In the heart of this lush vegetation, you can enjoy a well-deserved nature bath as a resident of Paris. However, not far from there, there's an even more unique and just as green spot. In La Queue-lez-Yvelines, you can find the largest butterfly greenhouse in France. A place filled with magic, not to be missed this spring!

A tropical plant expedition just a stone's throw from Paris

Just 30 minutes from the capital, a true tropical immersion awaits you. In a setting reminiscent of a equatorial jungle, you can wander among rare plants and flowers and discover hundreds of butterflies in a myriad of colors. Free to fly, these butterflies from Africa, America, or Asia flit above you.

A new concept has recently been introduced here: the luminescent jungle. A natural serum is applied to the various plants to make them glow in the dark, adding a magical touch to the greenhouse.

A greenhouse open for a few months each year

This little gem in Île-de-France isn't open year-round because it honors the cycle of nature and the life of butterflies. It's exclusively accessible from mid-February through November, making early spring the perfect time to visit. Since 1989, the greenhouse has welcomed over 60,000 visitors each year eager to discover the forty species of butterflies that call it home. Whether you're an adult or a child, it's a must-do activity. Go for it!
