As a massive heatwave has gradually settled into the capital over the past few days, promising a summer filled with warmth, many Parisians (including us!) are dreaming of a place to cool off while enjoying the lovely weather. Good news! We've uncovered an incredible gem just a stone's throw from Paris: the beach at Isle-Adam, also known as the largest river beach in the country. And starting next Saturday, it’s ready to welcome you for a splash.

A true oasis

From Gare du Nord, equipped with our finest swimsuits and diving goggles, we hop on line H for a short hour-long ride to Isle-Adam. There, we discover a charming spot where we can relax and unwind!

mante little village by the banks of the Oise. But we don’t have time to waste; we’re not here for sightseeing, so off we go, fins on our feet. And after a short 10-minute walk, here we are in the promised land, right in the heart of a green oasis of water and fun: the Beach. A unique setting that will delight swimming enthusiasts, as well as those who think summer means napping in the shade or enjoying a little petanque with friends (and we love you all equally).

Indeed, on site, no way to leave anyone out. The activities keep coming and are all different, to please as many people as possible. In addition to a genuine sandy beach along the Oise (the largest riverside beach in France, let's not forget), the venue offers you two swimming pools, dozens of slides, two diving boards, water games, and even a paddling pool for those who might not feel quite ready for the big waves. And with such a large sandy area, there will be plenty of room for everyone.

A huge playground

And for those of you who might have a major fear of water, no worries, we haven't forgotten you either! Because The Beach is also a paradise for weekend warriors: there are ping-pong tables, petanque courts, beach volleyball, and m...

ini-golf or beach soccer. Inflatable structures, perfect for those who dream of floating for a while, complete this already rather impressive picture.

And to enjoy a whole day in this amazing place, you don’t need to break the bank, as it only costs 20€ per person (which is way cheaper than an electric fan). For a little extra, you can also enjoy a boat or pedal boat ride, a beach umbrella or a sun lounger, and one of the incredible beach cabins that were beautifully renovated a few years ago. And even if next week might not be the best for enjoying all of this, the lovely weather will be back, and you’ll be the first to take advantage of it!
