We often tend to underestimate nature. We don't take full advantage of the trees and flowers blooming all around us in the capital. However, much to the dismay of concrete lovers, it allows us to breathe, eat, heal, and even decorate our 12 m² with beautiful bouquets and other cacti, which we inevitably end up killing, even though these plants are « almost indestructible». And it's to honor this precious nature that a grand Plant Festival will take place on Sunday, July 6th. To enjoy it, head over to the courtyard of the Hôtel de Ville.
Long live the plants !
From 12 PM to 8 PM, meet us at the courtyard of the Hôtel de Ville, the most beautiful place, and above all, ... more natural than ever, to get your plant fix and grow your green thumb. On the agenda is a massive plant sale of all kinds organized by the association La Sauge, which specializes in urban farms. The festival will also be a chance to learn all the secrets of medicinal plants with Dominique Gruyer and to pick up some beautiful ceramic pots crafted by the talented Ana Bravo. In short, everything you need to buy and learn how to keep your future tomato and basil plants alive in the best possible conditions.

Cultural animations of all kinds
Throughout the day, you can also discover the exhibition collective Growing in the Interstices imagined by 5 contemporary artists, participate in a chutney workshop followed by a tasting, learn how to make plant compositions, or braid hay baskets (allergy sufferers, please abstain). Keep in mind, while access to the Festival is free, the various activities are paid, but don’t worry, it’s worth it. We also use this occasion to attend the presentation of the new book by Dorian Nieto and Valérie Virorello-Jamili, The Little Jars of the Garden, to think about our food differently. And for us be .rcer throughout the afternoon, it's pacomefantome, accompanied by special guests, who has crafted a delightful electronic nap just for us.
