From Hong Kong to Barcelona, to Sydney, New York, and Dublin, it was then in France that STOMP arrived to take us on a journey. After a stop at La Cigale at the end of 2022, and a return to the stage at the Bobino theater this summer, the British troupe is back in Paris and is inviting us to La Cigale for the holidays, from December 19, 2023, to January 14, 2024. They had already smashed everything during their previous tour in December last year, with all 29 performances sold out.Who left the spectators in awe. And no wonder! Breaking the rules is in their genes. The percussionists of STOMP play with everyday objects that they transform into instruments, all while dancing: pots and pans, trash cans, shopping carts, broom handles, metal drums... They handle the objects in a synchronized manner while creating electrifying rhythms, to the point that absolutely everything becomes a musical instrument in the hands of the troupe.
Whether they are dancers and acrobats or musicians and percussionists, we witness a danced and theatrical comedy, driven by a unique soundtrack that is unlike any other. Inspired by the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this show has managed to captivate audiences of all kinds and it's over 15 million spectators who have already seen them perform around the world.
