The Farm of La Villette

This Parisian farm will definitely take you back to your childhood with its sheep and donkeys. As part of the “« Passengers' Gardens »”, its main goal is to share knowledge about wildlife, conduct research, and experiment. In short: a fantastic place with wonderful values.

In the heart of Kellermann Park, you'll find a charming little urban farm spread over two levels, boasting a refreshing and picturesque atmosphere. The Suzanne-Lenglen educational farm

If the name sounds familiar, that’s because this farm is located in the Suzanne-Lenglen multisport park. Yes, the one near Roland-Garros. It’s the perfect spot for curious kids and parents who never want to spend hours pretending to be a cow again. Basically, accessible and modern are the best words to describe this place.

Wild Animals in Paris ?

Urban farms are the best! But you can also see almost wild animals in Paris! Yes, the capital will never stop surprising you. For instance, in the Bois de Vincennes or the Bois de Boulogne, swans, ducks, herons, squirrels, and peacocks roam freely. In Parc Montsouris, you can also find turtles and a multitude of birds, creating a comforting ballet.

And to go even further, foxes have been spotted in Père Lachaise Cemetery, and ...rabbits on the esplanade of the Invalides and wallabies near Rambouillet. You’re not dreaming, there are almost kangaroos in Rambouillet!

A little tip though: don’t get too close to these animals. Not because they are dangerous, but just to avoid scaring them.
