A tribute to the past of Samaritaine and its founder
This theme was not chosen randomly: 123 years ago, in 1900, Ernest Cognacq, the founder of the place, decided to install his amusement park Magic City on the banks of the Seine, facing the Alma bridge. More than a century later, the store pays tribute to the man and this significant time in its history.
A multitude of super cool activities
Samaritaine has unveiled its programming, and it's awesome: arcade games, ball pool, distorting mirrors, hoop tonic classes (yes, hula hoop classes exist, we didn't know either), claw machines, dart games, exhibitions in collaboration with the Musée des Arts Forains and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
Used by the Jeu de Paume... So many activities that you can find in a pop universe combining "historical codes and modern elements", as highlighted by DFS, a specialist in travel retail for the LVMH group, the owner of the store. You will also be able to admire the digital artwork imagined for the occasion by the 3D artist Clément Morin, projected on the facade and inside the store next to Pont-Neuf, and capture your day with augmented reality filters available on Snapchat.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
