The Editor

It's one of the chicest events of the year. On May 24th, which is less than a month away, the Roland-Garros tournament will kick off. It's a chance to see the best female and male players in the world face off on the Parisian clay. But here's the thing: we all know that tickets for the Porte d’Auteuil cost an arm and a leg, so not everyone will have the chance to be live at the Philippe-Chatrier court. Luckily, all around the capital, viewing sessions are being organized, and the one we're excited to tell you about offers the most spectacular view.

Tennis and Sunshine

Some of you might not know this, but before becoming a reference in the tennis world, Roland-Garros was actually… an aviator (no, nothing to do with the sport!).

on clay, don’t ask us how he came to symbolize the most famous tennis tournament in the country. But what better way to pay tribute to his profession than to get closer to the sky to watch the matches?

To do this, head over to the roof of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann from May 24 to June 7 to enjoy all the matches broadcast live from this rooftop not like the others. And with a giant screen and a 360° view of the capital and all its beautiful monuments, we just want to give you a heads up, it might be hard to decide where to focus your gaze so you don’t miss a thing of the show.

An event in the department store

Settled in gorgeous orange deck chairs (a nod to clay court, of course), spectators can watch the duel between Djokovic and Sinner (our prediction for the final...

Following the abandonment of Alcaraz) by sipping on delicious cocktails, or enjoying occasionally organized activities. Even better, throughout the duration of the French Open, a dedicated pop-up will be available a few floors down inside the store, where you can get clothing, accessories, decorative items, and other caps from the 5th collaboration between Galeries Lafayette and the tournament.
