Do you want to indulge in new flavors and make wonderful connections? Join us on October 4th on boulevard Auguste Blanqui for the RICE MARKET, an event that will take you on a journey without leaving Paris, in celebration of the Moon Festival. Born from the collaboration between the 13th district town hall, the Entreprises 13 association, and Guang Hua Cultures and Media, this unique market offers a delightful mix of street food and cultural activities, allowing Parisians to (re)discover the richness and beauty of Asian countries.

Asian Street Food Takes the Spotlight

Now a major autumn event in the 13th, the RICE MARKET shines a light on Asian cuisine by bringing together nearly 45 restaurateurs on the market on boulevard Auguste Blanqui. From noon onward, get ready for a gourmet journey through ten Asian countries, featuring delicious specialties: barbecues, Chinese pancakes, banh mi, homemade grilled dumplings, malatang, Vietnamese coffee, momos, Japanese tacos!

is, fried rice, veggie novelties… From Cambodia to China, stopping by Japan, Thailand, and even Korea, you’re going to see a rainbow of flavors, and above all, taste all kinds of deliciousness!

An Enhanced Cultural Program

This year, the program will be even more extensive, as the RICE MARKET not only delights our taste buds but also invites about fifteen associations and artists from the Asian cultural scene, bringing us even more activities than in previous editions. What's on the agenda? Concerts, DJ sets, performances, readings… In short, everything you need to liven up the neighborhood all day long!

The event is becoming a true showcase for the young Asian generation, blending creativity, cultural transmission, and pride. On the whole day of October 4th, you'll find a fabulous chili contest, makeup workshops inspired by the Chinese Yingge dance, traditional costume fittings… Along with many stands, including those from the House of Indonesia, the Chinese bookstore Wulolife, and a publishing house…an independent Fad Jong, from the Kim Thanh decoration shop, Joie et Moi with its handmade Chinese jewelry, Matoo Corps and its Pokémon cards, or even Aurélie Fiolet with her dozens of origami creations. It's enough to turn the market into a true celebration!
