Us Parisians indeed have an enormous chance. Not only do we live in the most beautiful city in the world, but our region is also among the most beautiful in France. There are castles galore, super original museums, and especially cute walking and biking paths that are all adorable in their own way. This time, we're taking you to discover Val-d'Oise, and more specifically, the Sausseron valley.

Have you heard of the Vexin regional natural park? If not, what a shame for you, because it's an absolutely charming place, and we suggest you correct that as soon as possible. This is the domain, where the Sausseron winds its way, a lovely little river 24 km long around which our journey of the day is organized. A small loop of 8 km starting and ending at the Valmondois train station, accessible in 1 hour by Transilien from the Gare du Nord.


Strolling Through Nature

Once you're there, you’ll need to take the path northwest, cross the river, and then return the way you came by a different path (you can find the whole trail right here). Along the way, you’ll pass through fields, forests, and charming little villages that are simply bursting with cuteness. Throughout the journey, you'll enjoy the super colorful flowers blooming on both sides. It's such a wonderfully varied landscape to soak up green and fresh air before heading back to Paris, with its metro and pollution. And don’t worry, this hike is suitable for all levels of walkers; just plan to set aside 2.5 hours, bring some snacks, plenty of water, and especially a sunny disposition!
