It's a fact, when it's hot, there are very few situations more satisfying than diving headfirst into nice cold water (just make sure to wet your neck first, watch out for cold shock though!). Luckily, the capital is full of spots and pools where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. However, for those who might not trust the water quality of the canal, we’ve found you the perfect place to splash around outside in clear water.

A spot not to be missed

During a heatwave, finding a pool is no longer a matter of pleasure, it’s a matter of survival. And since we at Bonbon love to share our good tips, know that we’ve found you a fantastic spot!

a pool that won’t be plagued by beetles, and what’s even better is it’s 100% free! Even though the entrance fees for municipal pools in Paris are generally quite affordable, it’s always a delight to get something for free. To enjoy this experience, head to the 17th district, to the Just Fontaine stadium, where an outdoor pool awaits you. You can dive in every day from Saturday, July 4 to Sunday, August 16, giving you over a month of pure bliss. The only thing you need to enjoy this is to bring your best swimsuit (this is a given — you know, because of the pool’s water) and, of course, your cutest swim cap.

A Bounty of Activities

In addition to a pool that will help cool you down, you can enjoy a variety of fun activities all summer long! The Just Fontaine Stadium invites you to participate in daily aqua aerobics classes, and you can take part in diverse activities such as roundnet, volleyball, pickleball, archery, boccia, ping-pong, or basketball. Don't forget about the outdoor cinemas or video game sessions—basically, everything you need to make this place the most popular spot of the summer! Just a heads-up, though: space is limited, so we recommend arriving early!
