Promoting Bakery Professions
Every year, the Bread Festival highlights a special theme, and in 2025, it will be showcasing « the professions of the future » in the bakery world. During the ten days of celebration, four professions will be presented to the public: baker, pastry chef, dough maker, and bakery salesperson. It's a wonderful way to show young people the world of possibilities that awaits them in terms of career paths, and to pay tribute to these essential professions that contribute to the renown of French gastronomy on a global scale.

A celebration that spans all of France
In Paris, this grand celebration will take place at the foot of the Notre-Dame Cathedral, which reopened in December 2024. It’s a perfect way to honor the excellence of French baking in a location that truly symbolizes Paris and France to the whole world. The national contest for the Best Traditional French Baguette will also take place here. But Paris won’t be the only one showcasing baking in May, as this celebration stretches across the entire country. Wherever you are, you can enjoy the Fête du Pain, so be sure not to miss it!
