What if we swapped the Parisian terraces for a magical adventure under the moonlight? Let's head to Val-d'Oise, where The Night of the Fairies is back this summer to transform the park of a historic castle into a forest filled with fantastic creatures.
Every Saturday evening, at dusk, the Guiry-en-Vexin castle becomes the stage for an immersive experience that is completely out of time. Guided by lanternlight by an "elficologist" (yes, that exists, and for those of us who, like many, had no idea what an elficologist is, it's simply someone who studies the world of elves, fairies, and goblins, sharing that knowledge and magic), visitors set off on a nighttime stroll blending folklore, theater, and poetry.

Between Fantastic Creatures and Luminous Illusions
As you wander through the park's paths, it’s impossible to tell what’s real and what’s imaginary. Phosphorescent traces, projections in the woods, and the appearances of elves, dryads, and other magical beings pop up around the trees. This thoughtful immersion is perfect for both children and adults nostalgic for tales and legends.
Behind this adventure is actor Eric Nondsen, a lover of mythologies and fantastic stories, who orchestrates this stroll like a true initiatory quest. The result? An experience that blends live performance, night walk, and waking dream.

An Unusual Outing on the Doorstep of Paris
The concept charms precisely because it’s unlike anything else: here, there are no amusement parks or big technological rides, but rather a crafty and poetic atmosphere where imagination takes the lead. The public is even encouraged to come in costume to enhance the immersive experience.
Set within the regional natural park of Vexin français, this outing is one of those hidden gems that we love to discover when the beautiful days return. And as a bonus: in the fall, “La Nuit des Fées” gradually transforms into a special Halloween version, more mysterious and slightly spooky.
