It's hot! Finally! And it makes us really want to eat ice cream with our feet in the water. Lacking inspiration? We have toured the capital to deliver to you on a silver platter 7 magnificent fountains where you can take a dip all afternoon in Paris.


The Fountain of the Palais Royal Garden 

What better place than one of the most bucolic gardens in Paris to spend a lovely afternoon by the water with a good book ? The absolute highlight is undoubtedly these slightly reclined garden chairs that encircle the magnificent fountain, allowing us to peacefully take a nap. Without a doubt, our favorite spot.

The Louvois Fountain

Located in the peaceful Louvois square, this beautiful fountain is the work of Louis Visconti, the sculptor behind the Saint-Sulpice fountain. We love the lawn surrounding it, where you can sit on the grass and chill all day long.

The Water Games of Parc de Saint-Cloud

In need of some freshness? Let's take refuge in this incredible park located at the gates of Paris. In the center, a sublime masterpiece of the 17th century: an exceptional hydraulic network that uses the force of gravity alone to give water natural pressure. Along the terraces' slopes, water springs up to 30 meters high at the Grand Jet, continues its path through 24 jets, troughs, and the Horseshoe, and finishes its course in the swirling of the Great Cascade. A true spectacle.

Standing since the early 1840s in front of the Saint-Sulpice church, this tall 12m fountain has something mystical about it. A beautiful place set in the lovely Saint-Germain neighborhood.

The Stravinsky Fountain Certainly the most unique of Parisian fountains, the Stravinsky Fountain is just like its neighbor the Centre Georges Pompidou: modern and colorful. We love grabbing a cold beer to go and enjoying it with our feet in the water.
