We have a tradition where Paris Plages marks each of our summers. Deck chairs, fun activities… Since 2002, this event has brought a holiday vibe to our summer days, much to our delight. But for its 24th edition, Paris Plages is taking a whole new turn by allowing you to swim for free in six different spots throughout the capital. The event is set from July 5 to August 31, 2025. &Get your swimsuits ready!

Three additional swimming spots

Ready for a big splash? Just like the athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympics, this summer you’ll be able to dive into the waters of Paris. It’s a major change since swimming in the Seine has been banned for about a hundred years! Where, you may ask? Well, that’s the exciting new feature for 2025! Alongside the usual Rives de Seine park, the Villette basin, and the Saint-Martin canal, three new water spots are joining the list. Get ready to swim lengths at Bras Marie, Quai de Bercy, or the Bras de Grenelle this summer! These swimming areas will be completely free and supervised by lifeguards. They will be...

nt accessible every day.

Brazil in the spotlight in Paris all summer long

And because summer means celebration, as well as travel, in 2025, Paris Plages will have you grooving to the rhythm of the France-Brazil season. On this occasion, The Paris Tourist Office reveals that Brazilian colors will take center stage. Concerts, outdoor movies, and cultural and sports activities will also be on the agenda, allowing you to discover this Latin American country!
