Did you think that once the return to school came, outdoor cinemas would come to an end? Not at all! From August 29 to September 6, 2025, the 24th edition of the Silhouette Festival will brighten up the Butte du Chapeau Rouge park in the 10th and the Pavillon Carré de Baudouin in the 20th. Get ready for nine delightful days filled with outdoor screenings of all kinds of fabulous short films!

Short films from all genres and backgrounds showcased
Almost a quarter of a century of life, that's quite something! On the agenda, selections of international films, hybrids, documentaries, youth films, school projects, as well as clips. Each of the short films presented is competing in its own category for a chance to win an award.

Cinema and Music
Silhouette is definitely about cinema, but not just that. Music is given a big spotlight here with concerts happening every evening at 7:30 PM at the Butte du Chapeau Rouge park. The musical styles offered will be particularly eclectic, catering to a wide audience. Kicking off the festivities on August 29th will be Akata Kolo Orchestra with their vibrant Afrobeat sounds!

Next up will be the group AAAAAHHHH, Zineb, No Sex Last Night, Poulets Sans Têtes, Jo The Wise, and Les Impromptus de signes à l'œil. On September 5th, Paris Anim’ Solidarité - Angèle Mercier will have the freedom to present a dance and hip-hop program. Tales & Ahlam will wrap up the festivities on September 6th. Entrance to the various evenings will be free, and of course, there will be food available on-site. What a lovely way to kick off the new year in style!
