Calling all lovers of the 7th art and the capital city! This summer, Ciné Quartier 13, the free open-air cinema for all, is back to light up the 13th arrondissement on Fridays July 7th, 21st, 28th, and August 4th. On the program: films that are 100% Parisian.

After La Villette, the château de Vincennes, la Monnaie de Paris or even the cour carrée du Louvre, in the (very long) list of outdoor cinemas during the summer, I present to you: Ciné Quartier 13. A new giant screen will be set up in different locations in the 13th arrondissement of the capital, giving you the opportunity to enjoy movies under the open sky.It's this Friday, July 7th, before coming back on Fridays, July 21st, 28th, and August 4th. A free event open to everyone. A 100% Parisian theme. On the program for this outdoor cinema: four iconic films of the 7th art, whose stories all take place in... Paris! From the banks of the Seine to the Eiffel Tower, passing through the iconic neighborhood of Montmartre, we know that cinema loves the City of Light, and there are many films that showcase the French capital. In fact, Paris is the most filmed city in the world: it hosted over 102 film shoots and over 68 television series shoots in 2022.

So it's no wonder that Quartier 13 Cinema chose to honor Parisian cinema for its 2023 edition. We kick off the festivities this Friday, July 7, with A Monster in Paris, the animated film featuring, among others, the singer -M-, Vanessa Paradis, and Gad Elmaleh.

On July 21, we then have Zazie in the Metro, a burlesque comedy by Louis Malle, and featuring the iconic voice of Philippe Noiret in Square Paul Grimault. On July 28, A Mermaid in Paris will be playing at Abbé-Pierre Garden – Grands Moulins, just a few steps away from the banks of the Seine, before wrapping up on August 4th with The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain at Choisy Park.
