We officially declare the season of outdoor cinemas open! Whether it's in the courtyard of the Louvre, at the Air and Space Museum, or even at La Villette, all around the capital, giant screens and comfy lounge chairs are set up to offer Parisians a unique cinematic experience.
This year again, La Monnaie de Paris joins the long list of outdoor cinemas. From July 23 to July 26, 2025, the famous museum invites you for four exceptional evenings, once the night falls.

A time-traveling and cinematic journey
Take a seat in one of the many deck chairs and let yourself be carried away by the event "A Canvas Under the Stars". This year’s lineup includes four absolutely legendary feature films. The festivities will kick off on Wednesday, July 23rd with the screening of Amadeus by Milos Forman, released in 1984. The next day, Thursday, July 24th, get ready for The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre de La Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte, which hit the theaters in 2024 and achieved tremendous success. Friday, July 25th will be dedicated to the screening of The Visitors by Jean-Marie Poiré, released in 1993. The event will conclude on Saturday, July 26th with the screening of Inception by Christopher Nolan, a film from 2010.

An Evening Full of Fun Activities
While the films will be screened starting at 9:30 PM, the Monnaie de Paris will be open from 7 PM. A plethora of activities awaits you, whether they are musical or culinary. You will also have the chance to explore the museum’s exhibitions. Best of all, you won’t have to break the bank: tickets are just 8€, and children under 12 can enjoy it for free!
