The Editor

The largest Norman market in Paris is back for a 2nd edition on the banks of the Seine in the month of May! From May 24th to 26th, about fifty producers from all over Normandy come specially to the capital to offer you, directly, the best of their products! Cheeses, oysters, scallops, charcuterie, ciders, spirits... From morning till night, we come to discover the best of Norman terroir with tastings and various activities, and we leave with a full belly and heart, and a basket full of products! The best of Normandy in Paris Ah Normandy... its cliffs, its half-timbered houses, its endless green plains, its cows, its Mont Saint-Michel. There's no denying, it's really a beautiful region. And if we can't afford a little getaway to the coast, it's coming to us! And not just anywhere: it's on the banks of the Seine, facing...

The sublime island of the City, where the Normand Market has decided to settle down. On the agenda:  tastings, sales and educational activities with producers for 3 consecutive days.

Let's start by taking a stroll at the food market, where cheeses, cold cuts, shellfish, fish, dairy products, fruits and vegetables but also grocery products await the most gourmet foodies. After that, we treat ourselves to a drink at the drink market, which reveals the best of Norman beverages: ciders, calvados, beers, apple juice, or even kombucha and much more.

For tastings, we settle comfortably by the Seine to enjoy a lovely appetizer platter or a plate of seafood in good company. For those with a sweet tooth, there are also typical ice creams and biscuits, or the flagship specialty of Normandy: teurgoule, a kind of absolutely amazing Norman rice pudding.

Animations to discover Normandy

After shopping and tasting local specialties, head to the animation stands to explore all the beauty of Normandy! Every day, you can come and cook alongside Chef Paulo Ferreira according to the day and time schedule: Normandy breakfast, oysters and Camembert cheese, honey, spelt, apple balsamic, fish, Isigny butter and cream... Some visitors may even have the chance to assist the chef. In short, after this, Norman gastronomy will have no secrets for you.

On Saturdays, from 3pm to 6pm, a fun workshop about churning - the technique of "beating" cream to make butter - will take place, followed by a tasting of Isigny AOP butter (mouth-watering, right?). If you enjoy this delicious journey, head over to the Normandie Tourisme booth to discover everything the region has to offer! So, are you convinced? See you from May 24th to 26th!
