Wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs, get ready because the Paris Wine Museum is reopening its doors. Closed for several months for renovations, the place is back in full swing, all shiny and clean, to unveil the craftsmanship and richness of our winemaking heritage, in the heart of the 16th arrondissement.

One place, centuries of history

Nestled in a private mansion on Charles-Dickens Square, at the corner of Eaux Street (yes, rather ironic), the Wine Museum is a true historical institution of Paris. Here, in the 6th century, there was the Nigeon vineyard. Later, in the Middle Ages, the village of Passy was erected to exploit former quarries converted into cellars. With the French Revolution, the place is unfortunately destroyed and forgotten, but it is rediscovered in the 20th century.

Today, these medieval quarries from the 15th century and its vaulted cellars house our beautiful Wine Museum, a cultural and festive place open since 1984, with a collection of over 2200 objects.

1200 m2 dedicated to the world of wine and gastronomy

The place will reopen to the public on Tuesday, September 19 under a new name:  M. Wine Museum. The opportunity to discover all the secrets and anecdotes about this sweet nectar, but also to participate in wine tasting classes and customizable training courses, visit temporary exhibitions, and even listen to some occasional concerts. The added bonus? The museum will unveil its own restaurant, Le M, on October 6th, with French cuisine based on seasonal products and over 200 wine references to accompany its dishes.
