The annual cheeky extravaganza is finally making its grand comeback to the Little Belt railway line! On October 3rd and 4th, the Impertinent Illustration Market is setting up shop at Hasard Ludique for its 9th edition. The idea? For two whole days, we're diving deep into representations of the body through a curated selection of artists, illustrators and collectives here to celebrate all genders and sexualities, always with a dash of humor, boldness and mischief. Just the thing to turn up the heat as autumn kicks off!

The cheeky autumn celebration
With free access from 12pm to 7pm on the outdoor quay of Hasard Ludique, the Market of Impertinent Illustration invites us to discover around thirty illustrators who have developed a plural, joyful and cheeky erotic imagination, far from gender norms and complexes, refusing any narrow and reductive categories. Through drawings, publications, objects, performances and encounters, the event shares new visions of desire, intimacy and sexuality in a welcoming, judgment-free space.

And because inhabiting your body is sometimes a political act, Hasard Ludique didn't miss the chance to add to its lineup discussions to reclaim our intimate stories. While the bodies of women, racialized people, fat people, queer or disabled individuals are often reduced to fantasies, stereotypes or consumer objects, many artists, illustrators and activists are today reinventing representations of the body, eroticism and desire for more inclusive, tender and free narratives. These are precisely the themes that will be explored during the panel discussion "Drawing what we were taught to hide: when art and illustration liberate our bodies", a lively discussion running alongside the market, fueled by personal experiences, anecdotes and exchanges with the audience.
A whole bunch of bootylicious activities
But that's (obviously) not all! During this scorching hot weekend, you'll findthe sex-positive shenanigans of the Fet'Show by Maison Furieuse. A glamorous, decadent, and queer show that explores the many ways to experience intimacy, power, consent, and pleasure, with artists who embrace cabaret codes, performance, and fetish culture. And to cap off this scorching, colorful lineup, the NU.E.S collective presents When the Snow Melts Between My Thighs, a show that brings five queer performers on stage, diving together into a simultaneous exploration of their eroticism.

We're turning up the heat once more, this time with artist Wawi Abdel Kader who brings us a unique photographic exploration. An interactive session designed to counter fetishization and the objectification of the body, by creating a space of spiritual safety. A kind of sanctuary where participants are invited to step away from the outside gaze and reclaim their own narrative. In short, you now know Paris's hottest spot!
