This legendary metal band is opening its pop-up shop in Paris!

As we just experienced a scorching June 21st that will be remembered, music continues to resonate throughout the capital. One of the biggest metal bands in the world is opening a unique pop-up this coming week, much to the delight of their fans, and, more broadly, to all music lovers and enthusiasts of great spots.

After hosting Aya Nakamura, David Guetta, and more recently, Bruno Mars, the Stade de France is about to rock’n’roll, welcoming the one and only System of a Down (SOAD for the close ones) for two exceptional dates on July 2 and 4. And for this special occasion, the band members have announced the lightning opening of a shop specifically designed for their visit. So, name, dates, and address, we’ll tell you all.


An event not to be missed

Next week, the band System of a Down is getting ready to set the capital ablaze. On the agenda, two exceptional concerts, taking place as part of Serj Tankian and his bandmates' tour across the Old Continent, for the first time in nearly 10 years — their last performance in Paris was in 2017. These evenings promise to be absolutely extraordinary, and to understand why, just look at the featured artists for these two shows. On one hand, we have the legendary American band Acid Bath. On the other hand, nothing less than Queens of the Stone Age, who need no introduction (because let’s be honest, if you’ve read this far, it’s clear you’re a bit of a rock fan).


An Altar to SOAD

And the cherry on top, the band members announced that a special pop-up would follow them on several tour dates, including those in the French capital. From July 1st to 5th, meet up in the 2nd district to discover the perfect spot to buy all the merch before the concert, or to console yourself if the tickets slipped through your fingers. For 5 days, from 10 AM to 8 PM, fans of the performers of “Lonely Day” or “Chop Suey!” will find exclusive products on-site, such as jerseys in the capital's colors, t-shirts, hoodies, or jackets featuring the band, and even exclusive limited edition vinyls of the album Toxicity.cute; celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
