This is one of the must-see events of the autumn: the flea market festival of Saint-Ouen is back from October 5th to 9th. With the theme "Nature in decorative arts," the stalls at the flea market will be filled with treasures to delight art enthusiasts from near and far!

These dates are to be marked with a white stone: from the 5th to the 9th of October, the unmissable event of the Saint-Ouen flea market is back to bring together flea market lovers and traders around their common passion for beautiful objects and art. For the occasion, the alleys of the world's largest antique market will transform into a decoration festival, filled with creativity and history. Are you ready for a lively stroll over more than seven hectares? Prepare your hiking shoes.


Nature in Decorative Arts in the Spotlight

More than just a market, the Saint-Ouen flea market is a special place known for its atmosphere and history. It has existed since 1885, when the rag-pickers left the capital to set up their camps and stalls in the plain of Malassis, in Saint-Ouen. Gradually, the merchants unpack their bric-a-brac every Sunday, and in the 1920s, businessmen started buying up the land to create the Vernaison market, the Malik market, the Mallasis market, the Biron market, and the Jules-Vallès market. On the occasion of the flea market festival, they will all offer their own interpretation of nature through extraordinary decorations and animations. 


An Unforgettable Evening Event

Don't wait until Sunday at 1pm to wake up, because the festivities start on Thursday evening with a memorable nighttime event. Starting at 7pm, head to the bustling markets where there will be animations, culinary tastings, parades, and live music. It's a night you won't want to miss!

e;s et concerts to set the rhythm of the falling night. 

At Marché Biron, you can marvel at a dreamlike spectacle of lights and dances by the company Il était une flamme, as well as a bodypainting performance by the dancers of Compagnie Centaurée. The dancefloor will then ignite thanks to a DJ set by DJ Ignace. On the side of Marché Dauphine, the artists of Cabaret de Madame Arthur invite you to an enchanting musical performance. The Nocturne des Puces is only accessible by invitation (to be picked up on the websites of the different markets). You will leave these five days with good deals in your backpack, and stars in your eyes.
