We've all dreamed about it while watching La Boum, fantasizing about lacing up our skates to dance all night long. Since we can't hit Main Jaune as often as we'd like, next weekend, head to the 12th to enjoy the Glisse pour tous event, organized by Syssiskate at the Halle des Blancs Manteaux. A weekend celebrating nostalgia and the 80s!
A packed afternoon
Saturday, September 26, meet us from 2pm to enjoy workshops of all kinds, open to everyone. Free roller and roller dance lessons (sign up on site), roller dance, demonstrations and shows, slalom, free and high jump
shows, contests and roller dance battles will follow one another until 7:30 PM to dazzle you and, most importantly, help you perfect your skills, so you can impress your crush later in the evening. The day will also be an opportunity to attend conferences on roller disciplines and adaptive sports, as well as discover a variety of stands and exhibitors of all kinds.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
Two roller parties to give it your all
In the evening, from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and also Sunday the 27th from 3 PM to 6 PM, this time featuring an XXL dance floor to shake your hips and roll without limits to the beat of incredible DJ sets by DJ Just Dizle and DJ Ledoe hosted by Sentinwheel. For those who want to join but don't have their own gear, no worries, free rentals will be available on-site, depending on stock available that day, and for €5 for the roller parties. While vintage sequined outfits aren't required, we can tell you they're highly recommended. Consider yourself warned…
