This is one of our favorite spots to hang out while waiting for the holidays: starting this weekend, it’s off to the Tuileries for a dose of year-end magic with the return of the Christmas market! Until January 1, 2025, stands, games, activities, and tastings will fill the air with the enchantment of Christmas. As always, there’s a lovely program lined up, an ice rink to enjoy, and a chance to meet Father Christmas himself.

80 wooden chalets to visit
Traditionally located on the avenue of the Champs-Élysées, the famous market made its move in 2017 to the Tuileries Garden. Taking up an acre of this exceptional green space, this event requires eight days of setup to bring to life 80 wooden chalets and numerous attractions. This year's theme: "The Magic of Christmas". Simple, yet effective!
From November 16 to January 1, the organizing association Le Monde Festif allows locals and tourists to stroll through beautiful Christmas decorations and, most importantly, to load up on gift ideas before the holidays while exploring the stalls. Visitors can check out the market run by artisans, 80% of whom offer handcrafted products.
French products are available, including pottery, jewelry, textiles, and decor, but don’t forget to visit the food stalls to enjoy hot chestnuts, waffles, tartiflette, and other delicious treats until you’re completely stuffed!Beignet au Nutella 🤤

A Miniature Fair
If the Tuileries Christmas market is regularly crowded, it's also thanks to its miniature fair and its many attractions, suitable for both young and adult visitors. There’s a giant slide, bumper cars, carousel, Santa's little train, Ferris wheel, thrilling rides, and a 1,200 m² ice rink... The market also focuses on thrilling experiences! It's actually recommended to visit during the week rather than on the weekend, just to have some space to move around, unless you want to find yourself stuck in the crowd...
