The highlight of the show? It's the same every year and we never get tired of it. At 4 PM, a grand release of colors is organized. Powders of a thousand and one colors mix above the heads of the participants, creating a wonderful rainbow for a few seconds.
A celebration of spring, but so much more!
This festival isn't celebrated only in India! It's also celebrated in Nepal, Mauritius, and even Fiji. Its origins are linked to Hindu mythology. The legend tells that Prahlada was saved from fire, while his aunt Holika perished in the flames. Holi symbolizes the victory of good over evil, and it also celebrates spring.
