Situated on Friedland Avenue, in the highly sought-after 8th arrondissement, the Potocki hotel has long been the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris. This prestigious building, built at the end of the 19th century, is soon going to change its purpose. Following the departure of the CCI to new premises in the 10th arrondissement, the 14,000 m² of the site is about to be made available for rent under a long-term lease of 80 years.

The former headquarters of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry is ready for renovation

Before that, a major transformation is planned to adapt this historic place to the contemporary demands of the working world. The project promises to be complex: the façade, as well as many interior halls, are classified as historical monuments. The future renovations will therefore need to preserve the architectural identity of the place while meeting modern needs for comfort, functionality, and environmental performance.

The project has been entrusted to the H20 and Eugène architecture agencies, who have already carried out significant renovations on institutional sites (National Assembly, Hôtel de Matignon).

It’s all about reimagining the spaces, enhancing natural light, creating collaborative areas, optimizing circulation, and ensuring functional separation between public areas and workspaces. The goal is to provide a space that is both prestigious and practical, ready to host large international companies.

A venue that can host 1,900 people in the heart of Paris

And for good reason, the Potocki hotel boasts a strategic location in the capital. With a usable area of 14,000 m² and 3,000 m² of gardens, it will be able to accommodate up to 1,900 people. The project developer envisions it as a headquarters for renowned companies, drawn by the prestige of the address, the architectural quality of the building, and its central location.

The renovation plan includes the creation of open office spaces with an area of up to 2,500 m², featuring ceiling heights reaching up to 5 meters. Future tenants will also enjoy numerous outdoor spaces, including terraces with views over the...gardens. The whole will be designed to offer great flexibility in layout, in a bright, elegant setting that aligns with the current expectations of the professional world.

Heritage preservation at the heart of the project

But don’t be mistaken, the Potocki Hotel will not give up its identity. This building, originally constructed for Count Félix-Nicolas Potocki and his wife, retains many remarkable heritage elements.

This exceptional real estate project marks a turning point for one of the most beautiful private hotels in Paris. By combining heritage, innovation, and economic attractiveness, the Potocki hotel establishes itself as a unique place, ready to host the offices of the future without forsaking its history. Rental availability is expected in 2028.
