25 years old, that calls for a grand celebration. And this year, the Harry Potter saga is marking its silver anniversary. A golden opportunity for Parisian cinemas to offer a marathon of all eight films, allowing both devoted fans and those who've never seen these movies (seriously, it's time to catch up!) to watch them on the big screen! When is it happening? At the end of August, just before everyone heads back to school: so you've got absolutely no excuse to miss it!

Paris is the new Hogwarts
Several cinemas are getting involved for the occasion in the capital. At Pathé, the event runs from August 26 to September 1st. Films will be screened throughout the week, and you can even watch them in 4DX for the incredible feeling of being at Hogwarts alongside our favorite characters.

UGC will also be joining the celebration on August 29th and 30th. And this time, get ready for a true marathon! The screening of all eight films kicks off on the morning of August 29th and wraps up on the evening of August 30th. Meet up at UGC Bercy and UGC Paris 19. You'll need to shell out €40 to enjoy this cinema marathon.
For those who'd prefer just one film, the first installment, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, will be shown at the Grand Rex on August 30th in the Grand Hall. Tickets are €10.
A year filled with magic
In Paris, many events are being organized
cute;s to celebrate this grand anniversary. On August 29th, it's notably at the Palace of Versailles that a huge celebration will take place. On the program: quizzes, meetings with the French voice actors of certain characters, but also spell-casting classes taught by Paul Harris, the choreographer of the films.From November 4th to 8th, 2026, a cine-concert Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone will take place at the Grand Rex. Wands at the ready, the end of 2026 is shaping up to be… magical!
