This fabulous, 2 km long site is home to the famous « Rose de Puteaux », the beloved variety of perfume makers and pharmacists in the 18th and 19th centuries. Nicknamed « the perfumers' rose », this species is celebrated for its fragrant qualities, as well as its medicinal properties, and continues to thrive day by day in the heart of this true Eden Garden. It’s a legacy that reminds us even today of the importance of rose cultivation during that era.
A Huge Playground
The rose garden is also characterized by its incredible blue fountains (which make us want to jump right in!), a stream, sculptures, and more.ou even some arches covered in flowers. But the Lebaudy park is not the only attraction on the island, as the green spaces cover over 30,000 m². The park also features a play area that will delight the little ones, a bee garden producing high-quality honey every year, and even a butterfly meadow since 2009. In short, it’s the perfect spot for a sunny picnic, a pastoral stroll, or, more generally, a break from the hustle and bustle of the big city. A dream!
