On Saturday, June 7, 2025, during the 24th edition of the White Night, Paris will turn into a fabulous theater of culture. Artistic performances, installations, and projections… A multitude of artistic projects will be showcased for one magical night. And indeed, there will be plenty of projections all around the capital. Here’s a roundup of the must-see feature and short films!


5 Outdoor Screening Locations in Paris

This year, The 7th Art is in the spotlight in Paris, especially this weekend! Whether it's short or feature films, cinema will take over the streets of the capital between 10 PM and 5 AM. Great news, you can enjoy the screenings for free. The features being shown, which last between 95 and 198 minutes, are:

One Sings, the Other Doesn't by Agnès Varda, at Place Ferdinand Brunot in the 14th

Jeanne Dielman, 23, Quai du Commerce by Chantal Akerman, at Place des Fêtes in the 19th

Be Beautiful and Shut Up by Delphine Seyrig, at the sports field of Saint-Paul Gardens in the 4th

Olivia by Jacqueline Audry, at Place Nathalie Sarraute in

the 18th

From 4 to 38 minutes, the short films will also have their spot on the facade of the building at 115 rue de Valmy in the 10th. Madame has Desires, by Alice Guy, and The Smiling Madame Beudet, by Germaine Dulac, will be screened. The universe of Michel Gondry will grace the forecourt of Gare Montparnasse with the screening of the short film What a Sleepless Night!, specially created for this edition.


A multitude of cinema-related events 

These free screenings will be accompanied by many other cinema-related events on June 7th. At the Municipal School of Fine Arts in Villejuif, participants will have the chance to create their own short films, from writing to shooting. Over at the Petit Palais, Gaumont and La Fémis will celebrate 130 years of cinema with a rich program featuring screenings, installations, and audiovisual performances. At the Fondation Louis Vuitton, the "Video Art Club" will be highlighted, focusing on the theme of resistance. At the Malakoff Arts House, a workshop will allow you to create your own movie poster and take home your masterpiece. Be creative!
