A little movie session as night falls, when the sun has finally set and the temperatures have dropped a bit, we don’t know about you, but it sounds to us like the perfect plan. Head over to the 13th arrondissement, from July 24 to August 14, 2026, to enjoy screenings of cult films, every Friday, in an exceptional setting with Ciné Quartier 13. And this year, the chosen theme is none other than “From here or elsewhere,” promising true masterpieces of the seventh art.

Four Movies, Three Parks

For the occasion, three Parisian parks and gardens are teaming up. The festivities will kick off on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Parc de Choisy with a screening of Lisbon Story by Wim Wenders. The following Friday, July 31, it will be time for The Grand Budapest Hotel by Wes Anderson at Square Paul Grimault. On August 7, get ready for The Amazing Adventures of the Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, projected in the Françoise Giroud Garden. Finally, Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki will wrap up the festivities on August 14, at Parc de Choisy.

Outdoor cinemas across the capital all summer long

Before each screening, you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets, comfortably settled on a deck chair or even on the ground. By the way, the event is completely free and open to everyone. And for those who can’t make it on those dates, there are plenty of outdoor cinemas to choose from this summer. At La Villette, in the Cour du Louvre, at the Plaza AthénéeThere will be something for everyone!
