And what if we told you that there’s a magical place just a short trip from your Navigo Pass, filled with dozens and dozens of different types of flowers, where you can come and pick your own bouquet? This week, we’re taking you to the Yvelines to discover the Gally farm.

Of course, with the beautiful days returning, we only have one desire: to escape a bit from the hustle and bustle and pollution of the capital to enjoy the fresh air. And since at Bonbon, we're extremely generous, we love to share great getaway ideas just outside of Paris with you. Among them is the Gally farm, a little peaceful haven accessible in just 45 minutes using your Navigo Pass, that will delight all city dwellers craving greenery.


To your wheelbarrows

If, like many of us, you've dreamed one day of ditching everything to create your own vegetable garden or take a floristry course, we have a solution (a little less radical) for you: a huge flower field not far from the capital. On the agenda: over 60 hectares of crops of plants, and...vegetables and fruits at your disposal. And the good news is that you can pick everything, and take the fruits of your labor home.

For that, head over to Bailly, a charming little town in Yvelines, and more specifically to La Ferme de Gally. Once there, you’ll discover a huge flower bed filled with vibrant colors, where seasonal plants are growing, ready for you to create your most beautiful bouquets. And don’t worry, it’s cheaper than at the florist, where all the stems are between 50 cents and 1€, with lots of very appealing discounts.

The same goes for fruits and vegetables, where you can rent pruners and a wheelbarrow to fill up a lovely basket to take home. Right now, you can find perfectly ripe strawberries, apples, as well as lettuce, spinach, and even Swiss chard.

In addition to this very tempting offer, La Ferme de Gally is also a charming resource center, where you can find second-hand decorative items that will fit perfectly in your apartment in the 11th. The nursery also offers a wide selection of plants.
