Let's be honest, since this Sunday, March 1st, we are officially in the month of spring! And we're so excited! Because with this clearly superior season comes the return of delicious fruits — apples and clementines, they’re nice for a moment — juicy vegetables, and especially flowers and their colors, which add a little sweet touch to life. Especially knowing that there is a magical place just a stone's throw from Paris, where all these little treats are literally within reach: the Ferme de Gally.

Get Your Wheelbarrows Ready

If, like many of us, you've dreamed of ditching everything to create your vegetable garden or becoming a florist, we have a solution (a bit less drastic) for you: a huge field of ...Flowers not far from the capital. On the agenda: over 60 hectares of cultivated plants, vegetables, and fruits at your disposal. And the good news is that starting in April (which is tomorrow or almost!), you can pick everything and bring the fruits of your labor home.

For that, head over to Bailly, a charming little town in the Yvelines, and more specifically, to the Gally farm. There, you'll discover a huge display of flowers in vibrant colors, where seasonal plants grow to create your most beautiful bouquets. And don't worry, it's cheaper than at the florist! The stems range from 50 cents to 1€, with plenty of great discounts available. The same goes for fruits and vegetables; you can rent a pruning shear and a wheelbarrow to fill up a lovely basket to take home.

A place with many facets

In addition to this very tempting offer, Gally farm is a beautiful recycling center, where you can find second-hand decorative items that will perfectly fit into your apartment in the 11th. The nursery also offers a wide selection of plants!

Enjoy the outdoors, if the bouquets are too few for you. If all this effort makes you hungry, no worries, because the place has 2 restaurants that will delight you, unsurprisingly, with local and seasonal products. And finally, if the picking hasn't opened for the 2026 season yet, the farm also offers a covered market open every morning from Wednesday to Saturday, where you can already find a variety of products. And until April 19, there's no need to leave Paris, since they can be found in the heart of the capital, at the Grande Épicerie !
