We know about biathlon and triathlon, but this summer, it's really a duathlon that's making its way to Paris! On Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, 2025, head to Île aux Cygnes in the 15th arrondissement for this exciting competition that combines swimming and running. This event, organized by the Île-de-France Triathlon League, is taking place for the very first time in Paris and is part of the Olympic legacy of Paris 2024. Race types suited for all levels
Attention all seasoned athletes and newcomers alike, this competition is for everyone. Six types of races are available: XXS (200 meters of swimming, 2000 meters of running), XS (500 meters of swimming, 2000 meters of running), S (1000 meters of swimming, 4000 meters of running), Discovery & Families (swimming in the Paris Plage area, 500 meters of running), Corporate (500 meters of swimming, 2000 meters of running), and Eliminator (300 meters of swimming, 2000 meters of running).

Age requirements are set: from 2010 to 2013 for the XXS format, starting in 2013 for the XS race, and starting in 2009 for the S race, Company, and Eliminator. Where is it happening? At the foot of the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty, just that! Note that you need to register and pick up your race number beforehand at the Aquathlon village, at the Port of Grenelle.
